I know this will vary according to region, rivers and celebrity but how much, ball-park wise, should a morning or day's spey casting cost?
I've been quoted for £100 for a morning and just want to check that's in line with what others have paid...
Thanks
Jon

I think Eoin Fairgrieve was £25/hour about 4 years ago, so that's more or less in line.
I know this has been discussed before, but IMO anyone working on a self-employed basis doing this sort of thing, with no guarantee of bookings and no paid holiday, pension, sickness cover etc, needs to be charging at least that sort of money to make a living. It still looks cheap compared to a plumber!

If your teacher is good ,what you pay will be irrelavant ,had lessons from Hugh Falkus and Berlin (Carl) , Falk was great but as a teacher Carl was far better !
