Hello all, I will be summer fishing with a greys grx 13ft #8/9 and saw these lines on Turrif tackle forĀ£39.99, but before i buy i wanted to ask ; is this an ok line and should i get the higher line rating #9 floater for my rod, also if anybody thinks i am buying the wrong line please let me know as i allready have binned some lines bought without seeking members thoughts, Corky

i bought these lines last year and think they are magic. there are lots of lines on the market but i will be buying these from now on. i have a 15ft and use the spey 65ft intermediate.
tight lines

I also use the 65ft floater and it is a great line as far as I am concerned. I found the best plan is to find somewhere that will let you test a line with your rod and casting technique. Not sure where that might be but someone here might have some suggestions. - Game fairs are good places for testing gear.

another vote for the ian gordon, fantastic line for medium/large rivers - i use the 65' 10/11 on a 15 foot norway - perfect match - but will you want a head that long on a 13 footer if you are fishign small rivers - this week on the findhorn i found that i usually had at least 15 feet of the head still in the rings and on the reel - so for smaller rivers a shorter head might be more appropriate - depends on how far you might be looking to cast.
