Pike fishing on Norfolk Rivers

Are there members out there who fancy some mid week, normally Wednesdays, fun on a river near Norwich? Free fishing and the pike vary from 2 - 3 lb jacks to some better doublke figure fish.

The river is no more than 10 to 15 feet in width. If so PM me or post here. I am happy to tell anyone where the river is, we are not blessed ith streams stuffed with grayling or small trout but pike rivers we do have.

Hi Jangala. Do you know the Watton Road coming out of Norwich past the UEA. You come to some traffic lights where you turn right for the BUPA Hospital. Turn Right, you will go over the river. To the first roundabout turn left. Next roundabout turn left and you can only go into the carpark. Wait till the season opens and PM me and we can meet there for some sport. Recent biggest out the river to jigged rubber fish is 19 and a half.

Piscator, sound interesting. I'd be up for some of that. I'm near the Watton road outside the A47 bypass, about 5 minutes away. Have you tried the broads flyfishing for pike or had any luck with the Bass?

Will try bass this coming summer for the first time. Pike in the summer will also be a first. More than happy to get together. Can you ever fish mid week?
