Trout, The campsite looks ok (I think this is the one you mentioned in the Blagdon thread?) but the overwhelming consensus was for a campsite near to the lake. If there was a field we could use and then rent a chemical toilet (anyone know how much they are?) then that would probably be ideal. We can all chip in and if there are enough of us then it won't be that much I'd imagine.
Any idea on a possible field that wouldn't mind a bunch of fisherfolk descending with a BBQ and chemical toilet?!
Cheers,
Chris

This whole chemical toilet thing is confusing me. Bushes or tree coverage and a spade will probably do just fine. I'll be bringing my own mirror for my make up! Also there should be facilities at Blagdon. T.P.

Of course it would be useful if you misbehave and I need to shove your head down it! ;D

That's what I like to hear, a spirit of adventure! I think perhaps the toilet was a reflection of the prospect of Kev's famous chilli (and herb bread ) Ok, so now we just need a field which will allow us and a BBQ on it (and perhaps a wee campfire?)

It'd just be fertilizer! Anyway that's what the spade is for.

Easy Mick... it'll all get a bit like that "torridge" post of Black ghosts... loads of treehugging hippies bathing around the pontoons to cleanse their spirits of impurities

So what happened to the Leicester Fly Fishing Show on Friday 24th February?
Charles Jardine is doing entomology presentations and our very own Berlin is doing casting demos.
It's in the Parklands Leisure Centre. Wigston Road, Oadby, Leicester.
How could you miss that? Enquiries: 01455 554555.
