Hi I'm trying to find a supplier of chrome ferrules for a cane rod I'm rennovating. It is a very cheap rennovation project so I am after some reasonably priced ones but I'm not having any sucess. I'm after two sets, one to hold a 4mm diameter section and the second a 6.5mm section. If anyone could suggest where I could buy some I would be most grateful!

Your'e unlikely to find anything but nickel silver ferrules these days. The cheapest source I know of is Goldenwitch. They sell their 'Field Grade' ferrules for about $30 a half set (one male, one female). In the UK Chapmans sell ferrules.
You could try Barry Grantham 01522 878317. He's a UK maker of tackle.

I have never used plated or Nickel ferrules - always thought they looked a bit tarty and OTT - I always used blacked brass but that's just my preference. If you have no joy with the above mentioned there is always Agutters: www.norman-agutters.com/ or William Powell & Son of Birmingham may still have some stock, contact: sales@william-powell.co.uk. Thanks Blondie, seems like a good site all round!
I'm looking forward to the ferrules turning up having ordered some from Lakhill. I can really get on with the project then!
