- tonight's "The Girl in the Fireplace" episode of Doctor Who. Wonderful, and very moving. I await the day when Murdoch and Sky and all the other two-bit satellite and cable outfits that are perpetually out for the Beeb's blood produce something even a tenth as good. If you missed the programme, it's on BBC 3 again tomorrow. www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/gallery/s2_04gallery/800/madame_doctor4.jpg

Mr Boote, I feel so let down. I thought intellectuals such as yourself never watched TV, only read books and participated in stimulating discussions on t'internet. ;D

Ah, but that's what makes me so formidable, Tango - I see, watch and read everything. Terrifying, really...

Proper Dr Who! Those clockwork 'creatures' were creepy enough to get me hiding behind the sofa once more!

Also a VERY popular TV show here in the United States (SiFi network). Nielson ratings went from "Who?" to "WOW" in less than three broadcasts.

You lot really ought to get out more. Ever thought about taking up fishing...? Which raises the question; If you had a Tardis, where and when would you go fishing?

Which raises the question; If you had a Tardis, where and when would you go fishing? Where: The same spots I normally fish. When: Yesterday, as it always seems to be "You should have been here yesterday"
