Hello folks
I recently made a purchase on ebay and paid via paypal, my previous experience of this was immediate funds transfer from my nominated account thus same to the seller, this time however my payment is pending clearance by echeque and will take upto 9 days to clear! even though I have sufficient funds to cover. Is this a new concept by Paypal?

no - its because you have paid from your bank account instead of your credit card, and possibly to an overseas seller? pain isnt it - did you set up bank funding recently? never happens with credit cards which have immediate clearance

This happened to me recently. Check your credit card details have'nt expired. Mine had, and everything went by e cheque, which takes a while to go through.
I was wondering why everything took so long to arrive!!

You usually get a few reminders from E bay that this is about to happen. I got at least three messages/E Mail. Did you miss them? Tight Lines

I recently got rid of Norton security and loaded McAfee which until today have discovered an antispam folder has been automatically created and all correspondence from ebay and some friends have been diverted to this through outlook, your right Highlander there are several reminders there from ebay telling me to do so along with an invite to go fishing with an old friend of which the opportunity I've now missed. d**n it! why don't people just use the phone for those things anymore.
