So I was sitting at home last night when my Mum phoned up. "happy anniversary" she said Ohhh sheeeet. "for tommorow" she carried on. Oh praise the Lord. So I left the house this morning before anyone got up, and shall pop off at lunch time to remedy this situation. ;D It was a close call what with me going fishing tomorrow lunch time, and next weekend on the Usk.

Bri It is a place called Gliffaes, in between Abergavenny, and Brecon. Leaving either Fri night or really early Saturday coming back Sunday night. I know that there are brown trout, also a chance of Salmon and sewin if the levels are right (Please catch a seatrout, please catch a seatrout) Do you think if I chant this enough times it will make any difference? Dom Just north of Crickhowell. Lovely spot. Took the family there for their renowned Sunday afternoon tea on Easter Sunday. Well worth leaving the water for if you like a piece of cake or two! I think you'll do very well to contact a salmon there. I asked and they had not had any this season so far and they don't get many (see the online record book). Great trout fishing though. Enjoy.

Nice hotel. Stayed there for a wedding once - not mine. Spent most of the time on the river below the hotel. Lots of varied water - riffles, glides, pockets, deep holes. Best for trout. Sewin very unlikely. Think gold heads, czech nymphs or copper johns below an indicator.

I think Gliffaes has a separate beat upstream of the hotel that might be better for Salmon. I haven't fished it but I have a vague recollection.

I must be unique! When I was married it wasn't me who couldn't remember the various dates, it was the Mrs. Once had a birthday party a month early!
Cheers, Alan.
