Hi all,
I've moved fairly recently to Bristol and I've started discovering some of the excellent South Welsh rivers (Usk and Wye for the moment). I'm looking forward to discovering more rivers, going for day or weekend trips from Bristol.
Anyone interested in meeting up / sharing good times on the river, please get in touch!
I've seen a few ads about South Wales fishing but it seems like they're from some time ago. Don't hesitate to reply if you're still around here!
Cheers,
Flo

Hi Flodeg. There's a few of us Bristol-based river fishers on here. You are correct in believing that there is some great water to be had over the Severn: the Monnow and its tribs most obvously for trout. However, there is good fishing closer to home. Have a look at www.charfield.net and www.knowleangling.co.uk/. There is more. Depends whereabouts in Bristol you live as to which is most convenient. Drop me a line with more details about where you are based and I may be able to help further.
