Why do you think it looks such good value?
There is better and more affordable fishing to be found.

Sagefly I have experience travelling with SShoot last season and went to Stordalselva with them and these guys know what they are doing. I went to Gaula earlier in the season with another co, big river, imported guides, didnt know the river well, felt that was a waste of money. we went on a late booking with SShoot in a party of 6 and everyone took fish even in low water conditions and some nice ones too. The Service was second to none and to get a comparable week anywhere else you are going have to put on another £1000 at least.
I have never ever got that sort of fishing anywhere let alone for that value in Scotland or Norway. I have never seen so many 15- 20 lb' ers some even bigger and never taken so many good fish in one week.
I have travelled around a bit Salmon fishing for many years now and that was by far the best money I beleive i have ever spent. I was surprised to see this being done through an AAPGAI but when you look at the whole package look at what you are getting. So thats why I know its good value, based on experience. We have alraedy booked to go back with them this season, just 22 weeks to go and counting.
If an AAPGAI is doing trips their I think that makes a bit of a statement too.

Plenty of cheap[ish] salmon fishing on association waters, particularly in Scotland.Same as most things n life though, you get what you pay for.

Hi Spruce
Exactly the point I was trying to make.. "You get what you pay for". In both personal experience and that of friends we have learned where to get good value for money and it aint here. Follow my earlier advice and promise you wont be dissapointed. We are just looking at these packages ourselves at advertised. Looking for a second trip, this Orkla SShoot fishing camp looks good but we will have to reduce our size or split in to two groups of 3 as a max of only 4 for the beat. May have a free place if anyone could be interested.
