How'd you get on Steve...did it snow ?
I'd have loved to get down that way, but I'm 'still' either working(my real job), or working at my 'mate's' houses(bloody slave drivers!!!)
It's not fair...I had a few days off recently and managed a few hours on one my local rivers(the Clyde, the other being the Avon...no not that one). A few wee brownies, but not much else. At least it was nice to get out.

A long way to go for a spot of fishing. I remember me and mate was up there , he had to go to the toilet badly, so he whipped doon his breeks and was using a sock as toilet roll when a party of ramblers came into view , "priceless"

A few years ago I was fishing up on Skeen with a mate and he found himself in a similar position, when two very low-flying RAF Tornados did a fly-by as he performed his own bombing run and I swear they came around for another pass!
BTW Skeen is a magnificent place, we maybe shouldn't advertise it, they'll turn it into a stocked rainbow fishery!

No worry of it getting turned into a stocked water unless they install a ski lift ;D pocaman

Cloud berries??
Are they like orange berries that aren't too unsimilar to raspberries and only grow over 1000ft???
We have these berries called 'Multe' here in Norway and I can't find the english name for them.....

Loch Skeen is a Great place to fish and for a day out ,However I like Gameshope loch which is situated in the next valley check it out on an ordinance survey map the fish are between 8 and 14 0z but I had 2lb fish in 2003 and a 3lb 6oz in 2004 it is a long walk but worth it and remember conservation as you will catch 25 plus fish per visit.
