Well, Here we go again I've started organising the epic that is 'Canada 2003' As usual, we're looking for it to be in the last two weeks in September and we need some hardcore fisherdudes to come along. All I can offer is the best fishing of your life. Guaranteed We'll be fishing SWFF for Coho in the sea and you can be sure that we'll be doing it hardcore. The ability to fish through the pain barrier is imperative The ability to paddle a float tube is also required. For those who think I've lost my marbles or are new to the board, here's the account of the last trip... www.fishandfly.co.uk/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=3&topic_id=21616&mesg_id=21616&listing_type=searchIf anyone is up for it just drop me a line or leave a post below. BTW, We'll also be spending a few days going after the Springs in the river too. You know, the ones that are 60lb plus Cheers, Carl

Hi Paul, I'm extremely sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I missed your post. I haven't been in here for a while. Unfortunately, we are fully booked now.
You could try Gary Coxon or Ally Gowans who are also running trips this year.
Cheers, Carl

Light blue touch paper and retire to safe distance...
Nothing to this rocket science lark ;-)

Rufus,
Your report touched on reels briefly. How did your new reels perform on the salmon? I saw the damage to the pawl on your old reel and wondered if you had come to any conclusions and recommendations for anyone wanting to chase those Pacific monsters?

Matt, I fished Montana 3 years ago for a week. Fished in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho on the trip. Did some 'floating' down the river and some bank fishing. Fished the Gallatin, Henry's Fork, Snake River, Yellowstone and other famous rivers in the area. Best experience was hooking into a fish on the Henry's Fork beneath a waterfall, jumping out of the boat, running downstream with it, the fish jumping and snapping me. I never held that fish but it was amazing fun and holds so many 'what ifs' It is a truly lovely place, both in terms of fishing and scenery.

Hi Sorry, haven't been in here for a while.
We will be having a 2004 trip but as yet the dates are undecided. There will hopefully be two trips in September/ October. One for Coho, One for Springs (Huge Chinook!)
Cheers, Carl
