Ullo. Yep, I'm down on Tuesday, and will be there for the next twelve days. Out of internet contact, but R will know where I am. I'll have my rods (and, here's the catch, family and surf boards. But I'll be clear for (i) early mornings; (ii) day time when I can dump aforesaid family at Godrevy and then potter along to Hayle; (iii) the occasional evening.)

Hi R & N, We will have to arrange a trip.....or two then! I'm guiding for one day this coming weekend and also for a day the following weekend but apart from that we will have plenty of time to tease out a 5lb'er or two!! ;D Robin, planning of popping over next week after 9pm, which evening best suits you? I've been out of action for the last couple of weeks, damaged a couple of ligaments in my right shoulder - bl@#dy painful!

Sorry flyguide, but you can pop over whenever you like,if you ring me first you get to find out whether I'm in! Tyhe tides are just a tad on the naffoo side at present, although N,Barra and i had some pollack yesterday(lizard). Brother and i did consider doing a low tide recce to look at The Greeb next weds, but he might change his mind and fish teh Hayle. I will give you his contact number if you ring me on my mobile, anytime. Otherwise it looks like next weekend,ie not this weekend! robin

I'll email you later with what I know on this area. It's one of those areas that looks better than it fishes! Although I have had some cracking days SWFF here with bass, pollack, wrasse and mackerel - see report for 26 May on my 'latest news' page on my website.

Hi Austen,
Yes I have. I believe it's called Trevean Cove. Good slopping rocks on the west-side, have caught bass to 4lbs here last year (autumn) - last light though.
