i got one crapola, blank then 2 then blank then 1, wrong place and had 2 legs full of water. Was not too funny when the water from my left leaking wader boot went over the top crotch area and then down my right boot I was freezing to say the least, very hard day and to have 3 of the qualifiers to have a blank session and still go through kind of says how hard it was Well done to Campbell, Keith, Mike and Robert. Rgds...Dave

Thanks Jimmy- C, i liked your magazine article very interesting reading keep it up mate. As Dave says a tough day you had to work hard to get your fish i managed 2 , 3 , 2 and a blank in my last session. Ended up with a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 10th place giving 16 place points i think second place had 21 place points

hi Campbell - I finished 2nd with 19 place points ( no blank sessions) 1, 2, 1, 1. might have done better in the afternoon but my start point which I fancied for fish or 2 was crowded with pleasure anglers ! well done mate see you up on the Don. Robert

Hi Hametied, sorry i never answered your question about the worlds. I put in for it initially, but had to pull out because once the dates had been anounced i could only make four out of the eight trips so i would be farting against thunder trying to qualify for the team so i think it let someone else in. There is always the European next year

Hi Campbell- a wee trip up to the Don will be good .I will wait to see who else qualifies and we could arrange a trip or 2, we could all sit round the bar at night and tell each other ERR ! lies on how it's fishing! I am back up on the Tummel this Sunday, next Saturday. and then 2 weeks later on the last heat. ( controlling ). must be MAD !!

Hametied , its on the river Don in July . why dont you get yourself up to the tummel this Sunday or a fortnight on Sunday there are still prelims on and you can watch some of the top river rods in action . Try to keep well back and watch though as not to disturb the anglers
