Lo Captain, I see you have Leven as an option, if the final was there it could seriously affect the number of entrys.......

Yup Captain you forgot Bewl! Wherever you put a final it'll upset a few. However there are venues that competition anglers have fished and know a bit. But in the spirit of your particular event who cares. It'll hopefully be a good day out.

For me, it just has to be Rutland. I,ve fished most of the others, but Rutland has that special buzz. Probably it,s just the size of the place, the number of boats, and the staff are always very helpful.

I have voted for Rutland because for me, qualifying for a big final should mean a good break away. I like the thought of having to get away early, do plenty of homework etc. It makes it something to look forward to if it's not a lake that you fish regularly. Rutland is the obvious choice and easily accomodates such large events. Just hope it happens and we get there now!

It will go ahead even if numbers are down.....we will have all the teams go straight to the final!

Why not have different venues every year and turn it into a more varied comp.......

Hi piscator.... The point of national eliminators would be to 'winkle' down the numbers on average to fill the boats at the International final. If we dont have the numbers entering, we shall obviously have to go straight to the final with the ones that do. We'll have to wait and see eh?

I Agree with doods. See where the biggest entry is from and maybe let country's have shot about on there prefered water.

The governing factor is surely the size of the entry, there are very few options when you start to get large numbers of anglers in the one place. If you have regional/ national heats with four teams of six from each heat you still have to find space for near on 100 anglers. There are some great waters the length of britain and ireland but few can take such a contest.
