Really impressive. The mullet seem more willing to take a fly than they do in our waters Allrounder ;D

I contracted a severe case of mullet fever last week, when Brian Kjaer made a presentation of his DVD to members of the Copenhagen Fly Casting Club. This movie is highly recommendable to any saltwater fly fisherman ;D

Brilliant!!
I guess that the flies are representative of bits of seaweed, which goes along with what I had planned to tie up for next summer. I was thinking of going down the seal's fur route, but this material looks like hair. Presumably the fiber's buoyancy causes the fly to fish 'point up'.
As I don't speak Danish, could anyone enlighten me as to what the material is please?

Brian uses bright green marabou. There's a sneak preview of how to tie some of the killing fly patterns here: www.flywater-production.dk/index2.htmlClick the three underlined hyperlinks named "her" Cheers, Svend

Thank you. Methinks I'll tie up some in various UK seaweed colours. The mullet at were browsing on brownish scum. That could be a start.

I noticed on one of the clips that line was being retrieved, slightly. Was this with the weed fly on? I would have thought it would be best to drift it and watch the line for takes or, if floating, the fly itself!
