Temple Fork rods are really Sweet in the Southern California Surf zone...and in the Sea of Cortez, BAJA... The TiCR 8wt. does cast like a 9 wt., but it will put the Breaks on a lot of those Speed Demon Skipjack in Baja..The rod does the work, so you are not beat up after a Day on the Pangas.... I use the TiCR 6wt. for the Local So Cal surf zone... I can punch a Shooting head out 65 feet with No Effort on my Behalf (You only need to Cast 50 -60+ft the vast majority of the time in the Surf Zone...) I Recommend Anyone to get the Temple Fork TiCR rods for Saltwater, they are Great rods and a Real Value.... Plus they are Top notch Work horses....
