Hi Guys, Like to let everyone know of a new fly that we are using over here in northern Australia. The DK Dancer was developed for impoundment Barramundi fishing and has had great success! Where the fly differs from most is that it's towing point is not the front of the fly in fact the eye of the hook is set well back. This is achieved by tying in a piece of wire to the hook shank this extends the head of the fly forward. Concealed on the wire is a piece of flotation, these two factors gives the fly a unique swimming action. I have tied up my own version in a Gold Bommer style and have found that in the salt water the fly is almost irresistible, zig-zaging from side to side teasing strikes from Barramundi, Queenfish & Threadfin Salmon. If your interested tying few to try on your local species you can find the recipes for DK Dancer Gold Bommer @ forums.strikezonesportsfish.com.au/thread.html?ForumID=15&ThreadID=96" Good Luck & Good Fishing" ;D ;D ;D I would love to add a photo of the fly but not sure how to do it

What an interesting idea. I have tied muddler heads on tubes to put in front of flies before but that is something new to me. I'm trying to imagine the action of the fly. Do you tie it on with an open loop knot like the Rapala knot?
Cheers, Alan.
