I've had a look through the net for a pattern for the humungus but have so far come up with nothing. Would anyone out there have such a thing, or a link to a site perhaps. Thanks in advance.

the "correct" dressing on the bulletin board Dave. There has been 218 views on this thread so there are interested parties out there that would maybe like this pattern in it's original form. Could this wee lure be another Diawl Bach, subject to a 1001 variations on the same theme ?...Tight Lines
Guess no one wants to share this one with us. Och well never mind

Only one thing you can change, the hackle can be either cree or Grizzle, but Davie will probably correct me.

The original pattern is always very helpful as it shows the starting point for the variations. daver I have sent you my e-mail addy. Highlander, variations are also appreciated. They save me from having to come up with them . Thanks all round.

Found this site that sells "Branded Humungus" body materials. So many to list so here is the link. www.anglerscreel.com/cat0007.htmAs I thought "variation on a theme" got to be with that amount of body type/colour permutations for one fly. Hope this helps........Tight Lines
