Hi Guys!!! Not sure if the'z a thread like this already, cos me a newbee, i've looked back a few pages............... but has anyone fished Stonebridge northallerton lately, I hear it's under new management.................

Hi bantanic, Fished Stonebridge on Wed 3rd May on a sporting ticket, Specimen lake was hard going but Hergill lake was fantastic caught and released1 10 fish lost 4 others. Used variety of methods lures, nymphs buzzers and dries and caught on all. Excellent sport and excellent facilities all well run by the current owners

Hi Pikey1..... Thanks for that sounds good i'll have to pop through, do they still have just the hergill and specimen lakes, last time i was there i was chatting to the last owner and he was on about opening another lake fly fishing for pike.... Now that sounds a lot of fun, fly fishing with wire tracer...................... It would be one hell of a fight.

Hi bantanic, They have just opened a carp lake but I'm not sure which methods are allowed but I will be going back to fly fish Hergill this week so I will ask then.
