Hi,
I was there last Friday and had a great day. Landed 8 and had plenty takes almost all on a size 12 bibio on the surface. I had 2 on at once several times and 3 on at the same time once. I was fishing barbless and lost quite a few at the net. Most were stockies with a couple of residents and all about the pound mark or just over.
The best areas were right down the road shore in the first 4 bays up from the jetty and the opposite shore too. It was cloudy in the morning and cloudless in the middle of the day where the rising fish went down, then later in the afternoon it clouded over again and fish were rising and taking all over the place and only seemed interested in small dark flies. I also had a go with buzzers late in the afternoon and had several good takes.
Hope this helps you.
Bill

Hi thewidowsson, Try snatchers, F-fly (black and hare lug) and dry bibios/bibio shipman's. Keep the size down to 14's. My mates in the Heriots Club were out last week and had quite a few. If you get cloud cover, stay on top. If its bright and breezy, you'll have to go down. McShank
