Just thought i would let you know how we got on todat at Brook Farm Fishery. Got there at about 8.30am , i had promised my son that i would take him. The day looked great for bit of fishing , nicely O/Cast , wind S/SW moderate, arrived at the lake, 4 guys fishing , quick chat on whats working , and who is catching, it appears that in the preceeding hour only i fish has come out !! oops have we made a mistake? any we got tavkled up , Floating Line GH/Damsel away we went, within twenty mins one fish in the bag, cast out again , let it sink, ' BANG ' everthing locks up , several moments later off goes the line , no visibility of the culprit yet !! spalsh up she comes , play it out ,get my son to slip the net under it , on to the bank , Fin & Tail perfect 5.5 lb ' Bow' . Finished up with limit of 6 fish between us for a total of 14.75 lbs by 12.30. As has been previously mentioned , Brook Farm is not the prettiest of Fisheries , but for the cost of £25 for 6 fish , and they also allow you son / daughter to fish on the same ticket, and that aint bad, so we have enjoyed our time there , and will proberly be going back . Cheers ;D

Splash Hi, There is no comparison with Brick Farm & Brook Farm , i presume we are talking Brook Farm ,the one in Glos , run by Peter & Carol ??, been there lovely place , Cheers Yep. That's the one. As you say; a lovely place. I've had some wonderful evenings there over the years & some good fish too. I don't know how Peter does it but he seems to get more fight per pound out of his fish than anyone else.
