I heard from a regular that it was struggling. There has apparently been something done to the feeder burn that's causing the place to silt up quite badly. I don't know the exact details, but doesn't sound too good - especially when it's backed up with reports that have been posted on here.

have to be carefull here,is it a percieved managment problem or is it a fishery problem.ie coal board leakage ? i am trying to be fair.

In what way is the inlet burn affecting the loch,are the suspended solids silting up the area where the burn enters or are the suspended solids staying suspended and spreading through the loch affecting the water clarity etc,just remember the fish have to filter the water through the gills and excessive SS is like us standing breathing in a sand storm ie not good for the health.Hope its not too serious though i used fish there quite a lot.
