Give Clatworthy lake near wiveliscombe a go , tiz luvly scenery, very fit fish and reasonably priced . The Ranger and the regulars are very approachable for advice. If you are bank fishing the locals tend to congregate in the bay area which provides consistant sport. If in a boat the fish spread far and wide , there are bays to explore and the dam area can provide good sport if the aerators are on.Montys ,buzzers and the usual nymph patterns work well also anything dark and fluffy on top or just under can work when the fish are on terrestrials, at these times the fish can be very close to the bank. The lakes shelves off into deep water towards the dam end, tightlines

Andy, I stand partly corrected. The reason I was a little confused was another part of the original posting which said 'Would also be interested in finding any swff places' I was just hoping Clatwothy wasn't in response to this question. I have reread the original posting and apologise humbly to those parties involved Do you ever fish Bewl Andy? Chris
