Caught a 48cm grayling last week on the Mulberry Whin fishery of Driffield Beck. Fish returned quickly to make baby grayling so no photo I'm afraid. Still wanting the magic 50cm It fell to an Endrick Spider (For those unfamiliar this is a weighted nymph and not a slim North Country spider.) It was a slow day with a cold wind so rises were few and far between. Managed two brownies as well. It will be increasingly difficult to get on this river for the next two months so if you are thinking about it get in fast. £55 for 1.5 miles of double bank, beautiful chalkstream (4 rod limit). A bargain. Graham

I'm afraid as it was caught out of season it doesn't count Best wait until the magical 16th June if you're after one at 50 cms Aren't there any brownies ?
