Does anyone know if the lakes alongside the Neath river hold fish?They are on the southbound side of the A465 near the Resolven turn,also who controls the river in this area and what does it fish like?Any info greately appreciated,cheers

The ponds do have a few fish in them but they are privately owned by a local farmer. These ponds are dangerous to fish as they are very deep and fall away rapidly from the sides. They were dug to obtain gravel when the A465 was being built The fishing rights for this part of the river and a lot more of the river Neath are controlled by NADAC link www.nadac.co.ukThe fishing on the river at this point is not very good the water is fast and shallow and the club do not stock this part. regards

The fishing on the river at this point is not very good the water is fast and shallow and the club do not stock this part. I was thinking of joining NADAC or at least getting a day ticket to fish the river this year. The stretch between Glyn Neath and Resolven looks nice, from the road anyway. Is it not worth bothering with a day ticket for this stretch then?
