What is the weight of the Alltmor Fly Reel 7/8 ?

i sold mine - i bought it for bonefish but the spindle seemed a bit flimsy - at high drag settings it moved and the spool started touching the frame and the cheap bit of plastic to hold the one way bearing didnt inspire confidence - beautiful jewellery and fine for trout but not really very well constructed for the original price - ok at the recent discounts though imho.

jan ,i have just wound mine up as tight as it will go. no touching the sides,it would not stop a bus .but ,i dont expect it to ?

yes i was dissappointed that with moderate drag the spool moved and rubbed but its gone now - probably wouldnt happen in normal UK use.
