Magnus Angus has reviewed a lot of their products in Fly Fishing and Fly Tying.
I cant remember the exact comments, but he may chip in on this thread.
I have the Sshoot line and its fantastic for distance, most of the stuff looks well put together.

I purchased one of their rods from the spring fly fair. I have had the 10ft 7wt which I am using for Sea Trout Fishing. The rod is very well put together and asethitcally pleasing to the eye, a good build quality. I used the rod on Lechlade this year and found it to be a real powerhouse when it came to casting and playing fish. I have since used the rod whilst fishing the Tywi and was pleased with its casting ability when using big tube flies and more importantly wake lures!!!!! It would be a very good single handed Grilse Rod. The rods are good value at £285.00 complete with a nice aluminium rod tube, I would definately recommend it. These days £285.00 usually buys a lower/mid range rod, but the SShoot Silvertip can easily be compared with rods such as the SageXP, RPL or the GLoomis. For power it is as good as my RPL and rod with a big backbone. I beleive that the rods are only available directly from SShoot, but they usually have them at the fishing shows, ie Chatsworth & Trentham. What i would say is that like all things rod choice is a personal thing and you should have a cast with any rod before you commit to buying. Hoppy

Nice rods, I had a play on the lake at the BFF in November with a couple of APGAI instructors who were testing the new slickstream lines. I tried two models, the 10ft is quite a fast rod with alot of backbone and a nice tip action, very smooth. The 9ft was a little more forgiving from what i remember. Wouldnt really say they were for a beginner though. Gave me a good impression anyway but wasnt looking for a new rod, I bought 2 lines from them instead and as RRW says they are excellent
