AdrianB, You have not given an indication of what you are prepared to spend, which makes giving a recommendation or two a little awkwards. Buy A home grown Weaver vice, good selection, good price , excellent quality and as already said made here Should be enough imformation here to convince you .Sold by good tackle shops

Troutmagnet, There are plenty of regent or royal lever vices on sale in ebay. These are excellent value for money, around £17.00p and will last for many many years. Does everything you need from a vice, and won't cost you an arm and a leg.
