Jim, I've always found Rio tough to get discounted in the UK. They are much cheaper on US sites but not sure if it is worth the cost of postage.

Yes they are cheaper in the US...last year I was quoted $60, say, £35.
FMTC will do 10% for their News Letter customers...should bring it down to about £45.
I find it a cracking line, incidentally but if I ever have to bin it I'd look at alternatives like attaching a sink tip to a normal floater on grounds of cost alone.

Jim, you can get a Cortland Ghost Tip for £35 and you get two ft more tip ! I've got one and can recommend it.

Tight lines Simon hi simon.was out with a top scottish comp angler and was very impressed by the way this line handled in all aspects.the fact that he beat me made me think "must have" ;D jim

Do the RIO stealth tips have the 'clouser' taper? If so how do they cast? Are they slightly heavier than given line rating?
