Very nice forum you have here, looking forward to sharing stories and techniques with everyone here. I am an avid salmon , trout, and steelhead angler and a big fan of the two handed rod. Figured I'll ad a pic of myself and my favorite fish , the mighty steelhead, which is basically our version of the atlantic salmon.

Welcome to another Canadian! A few from this side of the Pond, but not many. Forgot to ask: BC or Great Lakes area?

With the double hander, I'm guessing that was a BC steelie? And hey, aren't atlantic salmon your version of atlantic salmon? Ha! Watson we have more evidence our suspect is from the west coast! Thanks for the kind welcome . I am from Chilliwack BC , home of the vedder river and some excellent fishing parts of the Mighty Fraser river. Squatter, feel free to contact me if you are looking for some fishing spots or run timing, etc.., once you arrive in fishing paradise. Not many places like the Fraser valley, where you can catch a steelhead or salmon every month of the year. Great thing for the UK visitor is the strength of your dollars, wish our money was worth a little more worldwide as there are many places I'd like to visit. Figured I'd add one more pic, this is from a river I fish alot,it's called the Thompson, and it should be on the list of any salmon or steelhead angler, it's fish are known to be Strongest of all the salmonoid species, after scientific testing. Greatest thing about it is they are extremely fond of chasing swung flies, on or very near the surface ;D.

Your web site suggests your a guide, spend much time 'chasing chums' on the Harrison? Great sport with a two-hander in October.
