Spanking idea !
If the fleeces go ahead could it be possible to get ones that actually fit ! not ones that fit the body and have either really short arms or way too long arms ;D
put me down for a fleece - dark green ? -
what would be the forum logo ?
Regards Rossco

You could possibly get the clothes sponsored by one of the forum sponsors to drive down the cost of the goods per head... Thinking of a strap line on the back saying: "a fly fishing forum Bloke"
;D Would probably go for a polo shirt as have way to many fleeces already!

I'm unsure if fleeces are the best option. They're expensive, only good in cold weather, vary tremendously in quality and , as far as I know, can only be embroidered which, depending on the weight of a fleece, can look crap. A t-shirt is good but disappears in winter. A cap is a good option as it is always visible. The other option is to create an embroidered patch that you can sew onto whatever you like. Cap, T shirt, jacket, latex posing pouch.
I say cap and/or patch for starters. What do you think?

I dunno about the cap idea.....
around here, if you wear a cap, your just asking for and ASBO.
why dont we get prices for a range of stuff, and see what the response is. Ideally a good embroidered fishign shirt would be good.
Might be worth speaking to the National team shirt suppliers? I know the scotland team have embroidred shirts.
Posing Pouch? You beauty!

An embroidered patch seems like a good idea. Or if someone knocks up the suitable artwork everyone could actually print their own iron on t-shirt transfers. Then there would be no overhead at all! In saying this I've never actually used the textile transfer kit that came with my printer so this may not be a good option?

I like Richard's idea of cap and badge, though would also be interested in fleece, shirt, t-shirt etc. Whatever really...

I like Richard's idea of cap and badge, though would also be interested in fleece, shirt, t-shirt etc. Whatever really... Well if we make a patch, they can be put onto anything. Either you buy the patch or the t-shirt, cap, shirt with the patch already attached. I think the patch gives us lots of options.

I agree that fleeces are difficult as people will tend to vary as to what types they prefer.
I wouldn't wear a cheap fleece as it defeats the object (ie not very warm)
I think caps, polo shirts and badges are a good idea ....
