Well thats not very nice Chaps,Not one put in an order. For those who are curious, i made it out of an old pan landing net frame, cut down abit left the net on,used the bottom off of my cd container and removed the spindle , placed a couple of washers each side of the landing net screw and put a nut on the back. Then i foulded a peice of ally plate with the help of a self adjusting tool, drilled and riveted it to the back of the cd container thingy. It just slips over a belt, easy on ,easy off. I tried it out friday and it stays on ok,its easy to strip line into it, its light , but it gets you in more tangles than i ever thought possible

Indeed tigermouth!
Dumpy, try a washing up bowl with cable ties drilled through the bottom for spikes. These keep the line in place.
Good luck and happy inventing!

Indeed tigermouth! Dumpy, try a washing up bowl with cable ties drilled through the bottom for spikes. These keep the line in place. Good luck and happy inventing! Cable ties, shame on you , the ties have a sharp edge to them that would cause line wear Now glueing in copper welding rods and spraying them with ptfe might work
