dumpy. rather than have cat poo in your garden you would spread your urine all arround it, strange. and for those with kids i would stay away from the pee or anti freeze advice I shudder to think how some anglers treat the fish that they catch, when they freely talk of all the inhune things they would do to cats. they are only another one of gods creatures you can love them or hate them - but don't miss treat them

Richard, I've got children and having to check every day for cat faeces in the sand pit every day becomes a bit tiresome. You made a sand pit for your children and you didn't make a lid for it? Forget the cats. What about the infestations in bird droppings? Have you heard of rat urine? If you don't have a cat then there is a good chance you have rats within a few yards of your garden if not actually living in it. C'mon make a lid for the sand pit and keep the sand clean. richard

Personally i found that digging up the cat poo that next doors cat 'kindly' left in my garden and chucking it back into their garden helped. They got themselves a litter tray and made the cat use it. Sure it caused some arguments but when i threatened to post it through their letter box they started listening.
Also my air rifle tends to stop the cat coming into the garden now as well. No i haven't shot it (although i may have done a few in the past but not with air rifle) but i have two tin cans in the garden that i 'can' shoot to scare it off Thats if the boxer dogs don't get to it first lol.
I am not a cat hater as such but i do not allow them on MY property to do as they want to. Right to roam? Not in my garden they don't!
