yes they are
Stick a couple of rubber bands through and tie on a size 6 and youve got the cheapest trout popper going!
Do a GOOGLE search for lazy crease fly for tying instructions

Hi Baramundi.
Thanks for that is loco foam foam with a silver out side?
God I thought I had far to many fly boxes already , I see I'm going to need a load more, do you need to see some sort of surface activety to use a floating fly?or will they come up for them any how.

A decent surface fly will draw Bass in even when you don't see any activity. Personally I'd use a Gurgler or a f*g Ash Lil. Try it after dark on calm, balmy, no moon nights.
A cheaper alternative to 'Loco Foam' is to buy A4 sheets of Funky Foam from a craft shop and a roll of self adhesive holographic book covering (£1.19p in 'Card Market) stick the two together and Robert is your fathers sibling.

Hey Bara,
I'm off to the Ebro delta next Thursday - so I don't have much time to mess about at the mo..........
Not a bad tip from Martin, problem is after the fifth cast or so, the bloody thing comes apart - rather spend the money and get the right stuff from Bara.
Regards Mike

MJB Fishing for the bass on the surface sounds great fun, does it work in day light as well as in the dark, I see I have got a lot to learn, but looking forward to it Andrew

Dawn, dusk and after dark are by far the best time to target bigger Bass from the shore. I used the moonless night as an example of when it ceases to be a fishing technique and becomes a magical experience.

Hi Gonzo. Nice looking fish, the sea fly fishing won't be my main form of fly fishing, so I would just like to catch anything really, just a bit of fun well hopefully
