[glow=red,2,000] Camping is sorted [/glow] Good news, camping is sorted. The Farmer didn't ask too many questions Oh and by the way were a "club" He said we could camp in one of there fields they are all les than 2 mins from the lake. I didn't mention toilets, or BBQ's but they should be fine, and if not, i promise you can have a BBQ at Countryboy's house, and use his toilet As C.B said there willl be no toilets. Drinking/washing water shouldn't be too much of a problem. Trout

Countryboy went and harrassed the people at Blagdon to get some kind of sense out of them and has managed to book the boats for the Friday and Sunday. I can confirm that we have booked 8 boats for the Friday and 7 boats for the Sunday. We now need to act with some kind of urgency! It is now January and the social starts on March 31st. I need to know numbers and I need payment for the boats in advance. Boat fishing is £23.50 per day per person. I need payment for boats in advance. I have no idea how much bank fishing is but you can turn up and pay on the day for this. If you want a boat then please send me a PM and I will give you my address details for a cheque. If you want to bank fish then add a reply and I'll add you to the bank fishing list but no need to pay up front. Numbers are limited - if we need to book extra boats then I need to know ASAP so don't delay in responding! PMs to me ASAP please

The lack of running water/toilets at the campsite is an issue. Whatever the speculation is some of us DID actually wash at Eyebrook and I had to use the karzi after eating one of Chris's "flavoured" burger buns.

Water shouldn't really be a problem, i can get some for washing and cooking.
Toilets are another issue. I did wonder if anyone would like to hire a porta-loo, but most people were happy using the "bushes".
If anyone is not happy with the rough field then there are alternatives.......at a higher cost
Bank fishing:
A £15.50 "Allwaters" ticket can be purshused at Blagdon or Chew lodge. This entitles you to fish (Blagdon, Chew and Barrows) for one day, and you are limmeted to 8 fish to take away.

OK, I'll grasp the nettle! Put me down for a boat on Sunday Chris, but be warned! I have never fished for trout from a boat before! I will also fish from the bank on either Friday or Saturday, hopefully both! Allrounder ;D

I'm in for a boat on Sunday and bank Saturday.
Allrounder, you can come in a boat with me if you like - I don't do that much boat fishing but we normally find a few fish.

Cheeky swine, that wasn't the burger that did it, it must have been whatever was in your sandwich at lunch (it almost certainly wasn't the mouldy rolls either!) How did man survive without a toilet 1000 years ago? Bushes! I was referring to the green burger roll. ;D As far as I remember we had Izal 1000 years ago which just spread stuff about rather than removing it.
