I will make this if its the Sat I thought the fish counted for 2 at powdermills, so 2 fish ticket is actually £35?? (a normal 4 fish ticket)... Is it far from the station? Rich, I guess it is a 5 minute walk at most from Chilworth. Let me know what time you train gets in and I could prob pick you up en route if it fits in. Chris

Rich is right - it is £35 for TWO fish It says : "Off Blacksmith Lane in Chilworth, Powder Mills is a 3 3/4 acre day ticket water in peaceful natural surroundings, appreciated by the more discerning and experienced fisherman" That translates into : "designed for tossers with more money than sense, who are happy to fish all day on a dry fly in the middle of winter, when nothing is hatching. If you put two boobies on a Di7 you are liable to limit out in half an hour" ;D ;D Charlie

Only need one booby though or a pink zonker normally does the trick there. Although all the fish I have caught there are over 4 lb there is the odd 15 - 19lber so goodluck to all - I'll definatly be there. Each fish in Powdermills doest count as two in the other lakes so you can mix and match.

£35 pounds for 2 fishes that looks a lot. I paid £12 at rib that make me save £23 for the pub. Any way, I will do my best to be there as well.

I think we said weekend of 14/15 Jan. I am still planning on going (will confirm which day later today). I spoke to Pete Cockwill last week and he says it is fishing fine and there are a few decent fish coming out.
Names on a list?
