Stuart, You have an uncanny knack of getting in the background of photo's. Once again you are there in the Lexus comp photo's. Or maybe it was planned I have heard from Toby and it looks like he is unable to make it to Rib. Cheers Mark

Went there today had seven, and lost at least as many for some reason - apart from one that bit me off, they just kept coming off. So it ended up a good day, but actually they were quite hard to catch and I only had one bite in the first two hours which bit off one of Magicone's boobies without me even striking - I just felt the tap, tap of a follow Anyway, at about 12.00 a few fish started rising and a switch to the washing line saw lots of bites but they kept coming off. Unfortunately the sun got brighter and the fish went down, but switching between the shallow rig and a white lure on an intermediate I caught pretty steadily whilst having an unusual number come off. All in all, there are tons of fish in rib now, but they are not really taking very consistently. Diawl bachs on a floater, Cats Whisker and orange blob on an intermediate and a booby rig will be my options. See you all there - I should get there around 8.30. Charlie

Charlie, I thought that was my exclusive trick, losing the majority of my fish It seems it's fishing pretty well though. Looking forward to meeting up again. Stewart, It was in TFF. In the comp section. Mark

Yeah - it must be catching Actually, I was using a size 14 some of the time, which mimmicks your "extra narrow gape" hooks, I guess. Still, I also lost plenty on tens, just one of those days, I guess. At one point, I lost four in a row ! Charlie

Mick, if you're going to this Social PM me your address and I'll lend you my thermometer. It will save you testing the water temperature personally again. ;D

Actually, you don't even need to do that, Clive. There is a water thermometer on the jetty from which Mick will be performing ;D It said 12 degrees on Saturday but I have a feeling it will be a bit lower than that by the weekend Charlie

I think if Mick takes another dip, the air temperature may well rise several degrees. The Pirate
