Im with KevZim Wwales is a good place to fish the rivers for cheap. And there is loads of places to camp or stay in guest houses or hotels. But saying that I would be happy to try a pricey chalk stream to see what all the fuss is about.

Come to the Welsh Dee won't cost you a penny Grayling and myself will sort it. Bugsy I'll be across next year, no worries! Welsh Dee or the Wye! Some of the Irish boys might make the pilgrimage with plenty of warning. Cheers, Joey.

Tell me where you lot usually fish, will have the rivers to myself that weekend.
On the other hand, I might be interested once the time venue has been confirmed.

Count me in, specially if its Wales, though Im happy to try somewhere else. Im off to NZ in Dec/Jan, so don't have too much time to take off this year, but if there is a grayling one, let me know, I'd try and make it. But, an early season, river social - count me in. (Im getting married next year - at some point - so as long as it doesn't clash with my honeymoon - can't see the wife to-be being happy if I book a fishing trip at the same time )

I would be up for this.
Ben - my tip would be to choose a date, choose a location (you can't get better than Bugsy's offer) and keep it to a manageable number of people - first come first served. Just make the offer and people can take it or leave it.
The longer notice the better.

Still mad ferret. Price permitting, and as SM says - the more notice the better... Wild fish rather than stocked would be my thang... Late June /early Julah on a river where we can keep going - i.e. break for a barbie after the evening rise and go for sewin after dining until nigh on collapsing from exhaustion
