I'm glad it's back on. It's a great event. Although I think most of the members of the forum may not be able to 'read all about it." Are you going to have an English tranlation of the site?

Great to hear that you liked the old version!
As you may have understood we are turning back to our roots with the 2006 FlyFair.
No big tent next year but a number of smaller tents so that we will create the real fair idea. What's new also is the location. The venue that you know was sold a few years ago and the new owner uses it for other things today. So we had to find something else, see the website for an impression.
For sure we will have all the fun, all the fly fishing stuff, all the (weird?) auctions and all the great fashion shows as in the previous years.
See ya!
Rob.

Where can I get details on booking trade stands as I would like to take Cookshill Fly tying to the 2006 event.

This could be a great opportunity to have a Forum Members meet in Holland. The fair and then a days fly-fishing for Pike or Carp. Let me know if you're interested.

Can flyfair please advise me of the location. Since I intend to go I cannot wait until August for the English version. I went to the last one. The only bad aspect was the queue to get in. Will this be improved? Regards Uskgrub

Alan B, We are talking about The Flyfair in Holland, which is on 6th and 7th May. I would like to know just where it is. I asked at the Otter shop in Zwolle last week but Bert could not be specific. Uskgrub

Since I intend to go I cannot wait until August for the English version. Still my point is the English version is not in August! The last one was in November there are changes afoot this year. Cheers, Alan.

Alan B, We are talking about The Flyfair in Holland, which is on 6th and 7th May. I would like to know just where it is. I asked at the Otter shop in Zwolle last week but Bert could not be specific. Uskgrub I don't speak or read Dutch, but try clicking on "Routebeschrijving", then scroll down to the bottom of the page, where you'll see "Bepaal hieronder uw optimale route:" If you enter Amsterdam, Netherlands as your starting location, you'll get a route map showing you where it's at. Or, try world.altavista.com/, which will translate the route page to: "You reach the FlyFair 2006 by means of route mentioned below. With transport on own account: As from Almelo/Nijverdal direction Raalte, off Haarle, at junction Luttenberg rechtsaf, Stationsweg proceeds in Blikweg. At the end of the way, at the junction, at the left-hand side recreation farm lies "the farmer shovel". As from zwolle/Deventer direction Raalte/Nijverdal, at junction Luttenberg linksaf, N348. After 3 km at traffic lights rechtsaf, Luttenbergerweg. Rotonde rechtdoor. Left apprehending, Harmelinkstraat. After 250 m. rechtsaf, Butzelaarstraat. The village to keep on driving. At the junction Right recreation farm lies "the farmer shovel". As from uncles, at traffic lights linksaf, junction Luttenberg, direction Hellendoorn. With public transport: stopper train from zwolle direction Almelo. At Raalte get off. There unfortunately no bus drives. We refer to taxi-bedrijf TCR (taxi central Raalte) 0572-358888. they let tevens rolstoeltaxi's you. Stipulate below your optimum route:"
