Boxing is a disgusting "sport" anyway. No great loss.

You only have to post things like "LIVERPOOL beat chelski again" or "LIVERPOOL WIN ANOTHER CUP THAT THE SPECIAL ONE CAN NOT WIN" and the stockies will be rising all over the place ;D ;D ;D

I feel nothing but sympathy for the poor couple whose lives he has managed to ruin. Hamed was a marvellously exciting boxer who now cuts a rather pathetic figure. Perhaps the saddest part of this story is the inevitability of it all. His whole persona marked him as someone who was always heading for personal disaster. It is so cruel that his implosion his destroyed others. This is the clear distinction between him and the other flawed individuals mentioned in this thread.
As a boxer he was the manifestation of arrogance who lacked the humility to make the most of his talents. Clearly he is as arrogant a human as he was a boxer. It could have been so different if he hadn't cut out of his life those people who really could have changed him for the better.
Sad all round really.

Well said Ben. Unfortunately the Dunces are now on the stage again, feeding off each other. Did you get the subtle humour in Chris's post - riveting. I think the thread is now best left to the slavering pack.

He was very lucky to get such a light sentence. It was the third hit and run accident he had been involved in. He ran away leaving the victim to die, it was only luck that he didn't. He ran away to get another member of his family to pretend that they were driving and take the blame for it, so he would escape unpunished. Yet all he got was 15 months, for which he will serve only a tiny portion and that will be in a holiday camp open prison.
