Congratulations to Celtic on winning the first major trophy this year. ;D Only a couple of weeks until we have the league wrapped up as well ;D
GS - got of to a bad start, but winning the double first seasons in charge, I'll settle for that ;D ;D.

The double? Surely A double I thought The double was the league and the cup rather than the league cup. I seem to remember you exited the cup down the Clyde somewhere.

The only issue is that Celtic are likely to embarrass themselves and the rest of Scottish football when they get into Europe next year... unlike the mighty and much more superior Glasgow Rangers. The only reason they are about to win the league is down to Rangers being so poor.
Remember Artmedia?

Flights being diverted due to rowdy Celtic fans etc? I could go on. Anyway, your remark is symptomatic of the whiter than white Celtic fans these days claiming that those nasty bigots on the other side of the city are ruining the game in Scotland. That's in between singing songs about an organisation that beats up young Catholics in the housing estates of Northern Ireland; flogs them drugs and, until recently, killed young British soldiers.
Sorry, I can't stomach bigotry in any form (and I agree there is an issue amongst Rangers fans), but I can stomach even less the level of hypocrisy coming from Celtic fans these days. And I certainly wont stand back and have folks gleefully besmirch the good name of Glasgow Rangers for the sake of petty points scoring.

;D northdeeps just caught up with this thread - in a nutshell you're barking mate. I started a thread to congratulate celtic on their achievement - nothing else. You're reply was to ridicule celtic and bring rangers into the equation- although I did assume you were having laugh (a bit of banter). I reply by suggesting that the only thing I have actually found embarrassing with Scottish football teams in Europe over the last couple years is the the attack on the villareal bus a couple of weeks ago (a wee dig back if you like and an element of truth). an now it's a full on bigotry. what you on about ;D look back over the thread if you can manage that (its only 5 posts long) and you will find the banter (nothing more than banter) started by you're good self. Celtic fans are meant to be the paranoid ones anyway well done to celtic on winning the CIS cup ;D

The only people that have embarrassed us in Europe of late is the rangers fans Anyone fancy throwing bricks at buses Like the Celtic fans in Seville eh,wrecking their own buses with kids inside ,checkout the celtic site kerrydale street if you don't believe me lol . Oh aye and the sellik supporter wasn't shot in Amsterdam, and the plane wasn't diverted because the sellik fans couldn't behave, and the sellik fans didn't boo when Porto went up for their medals. Celtic fans re-writing history again ,they are not normal football fans . As for next season find a good hiding place PLG is coming to town and wee chesney will do a runner ;D

Guys, another angle from a fellow Scot....The domination of Celtic and Rangers has completely killed football up North. How anyone can support these teams and get pleasure when the competition is largely inept bemuses me. I used to follow the sport but no longer on account of this along with a wage explosion that rivals Hollywood stars. I'll stick to following fishing now......

its funny how you can't just start a thread to congratulate celtic without it becoming a celtic versus rangers debate. ;D Why would GS go into hiding because PLG is coming. Rangers fans suggested the same at the start of this season and what have they won? ???Infact I still don't even think they'll get the second spot. GS should be congratulated on what he has achieved. He has put a good side together with many young players who have broken into the team. There is also now a strong Scottish element about the team. What has the mutimillion pound murray park produced - well not alot to be honest, maybe PLG will work out how it works ;D You also have to remember that the players PLG had at lyon are on a completely different level from the players currently at Rangers - infact I fancy Lyon to win the CL this year. I was in Seville and don't remember seeing any trouble or reading reports about celtic fans ripping up buses with kids inside - where did you get this info (rangers web site or the daily rangers ;D probably the daily rangers infact). I did remember they won awards for there behavior though. There's no other team in the world who would take over 80,000 fans to an away european match. As for booing the porto players well we all know what that was about. how on earth did we get to talking about this. Now I know why some people hate old firm supporters anyway back to my original point before I was rudely interrupted by ignorant rangers supporters - congrats to Celtic on winning the CIS Cup ;D
